About Lynn
Over 20 years ago Lynn began a career of financial counselling. She moved from a university money management storefront into a government debt counselling and mediation program, and then launched her own successful money management enterprise. For almost a decade she consoled, assisted, guided, and counselled hundreds of individuals who felt trapped by circumstances of debt and less than effective financial management.
It is a short leap from money management counselling to clutter consulting. For Lynn it was a career journey — a family support worker, parent–youth mediator and educator, and administrative support worker for small business. Each experience called upon her organizational skills and her ability to get to the essence of a problem.
When her mother moved into a senior’s care home Lynn was left with the trappings of mum’s long life. Later, bitten by the travelling bug, Lynn travelled for almost a half year with a 50–litre backback. There’s a mighty chasm between a moving van load of life’s possessions and a stuffed backpack yet both require an examination of needs and wants, values, and a balancing of priorities.
It is said that there is a recurring theme in one’s life that is reflected in each enterprise. Because change and challenge have been constants in Lynn’s kaleidoscopic career journey she has become a transformation specialist.
Her aim is to help to improve the quality of your life by facilitating your change from clutter to organized simplicity. She will help you to determine what you longer need or value, to overcome the habits that hobble you, to let go of your clutter, and to master organizing what you choose to keep. Her approach is non–judgmental, respectful and motivational.
